Is Varese on the way to Lake Garda, Liguria and Tuscany?
Yes. From the Gotthard, after Lugano you exit at Mendrisio, cross the border at Gaggiolo and reach Varese in 15 minutes. From here the A8 motorway, 200 metres from Casa P17, takes you towards Milan: from there the A4 continues to Lake Garda, while the A26 goes to Genoa, Liguria and Tuscany.
