Tre Valli Varesine and Granfondo
In early October the Granfondo brings thousands of amateur cyclists to Varese, finishing at the racecourse. The route climbs the roads of the Sacro Monte and Campo dei Fiori.

Rowing at Schiranna
Lake Varese is one of Italy's most important regatta courses: it has hosted World Cup rounds and the European Championships. From 8 to 12 September 2027 it hosts the masters world championships. Schiranna is 10 minutes by car from Casa P17.
